In accordance with these provisions, IRIS Technology Solutions makes this whistleblowing channel available to those who consider it appropriate. This channel provides a safe way to report any action contrary to the law, as well as to the principles and values set out in our Code of Ethics.<\/p>\n<p>It also allows you to report possible cases of workplace or sexual harassment, as well as to raise concerns or doubts about applicable policies and regulations. IRIS Technology Solutions&rsquo; corporate culture is based on principles of ethical behaviour, transparency and adherence to both current legislation and internal regulations. These values guide all IRIS Technology Solutions employees in their actions. With the commitment to foster a culture of integrity and compliance, the company makes this Whistleblower Channel available to its employees, suppliers, business partners and other third parties with whom it has or has had professional relations, promoting a culture of communication when irregular conduct is detected. The confidentiality of all communications is ensured, providing the option to report irregularities anonymously, in accordance with the laws in force, and retaliation against good faith whistleblowers is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>The whistleblowing channel is managed by IRIS Technology Solutions using the Ithikios platform, owned by Digital Products Development S.L., a company specialising in providing internal whistleblowing channel management systems for companies. Digital Products Development S.L. has a contractual relationship with IRIS Technology Solutions for the purpose of receiving, storing and sending communications to the company&rsquo;s Compliance team. Ithikios guarantees security and confidentiality for the purpose of the contracted processing.<\/p>\n<h2>AREAS OF APPLICATION OF THE WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>What types of complaints can be made?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Employees, suppliers, business partners and third parties linked to IRIS Technology Solutions can use the Whistleblowing Channel to report any action that may constitute a violation of current legislation, our Code of Ethics or other internal regulations. In particular, serious or very serious ethical, criminal and administrative violations, as well as any doubts or queries related to them, must be reported through this channel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relations with third parties (conflicts of interest, gifts, fraud, corruption, bribes or confidential information).<\/li>\n<li>Internal fraud<\/li>\n<li>Occupational health and safety<\/li>\n<li>Quality control<\/li>\n<li>Anti-competitive practices<\/li>\n<li>Intellectual or industrial property<\/li>\n<li>Protection of personal data<\/li>\n<li>Sustainability and environment<\/li>\n<li>Financial, accounting or tax matters<\/li>\n<li>Retaliation of any kind, including threats or attempts at retaliation.<\/li>\n<li>Cases of workplace harassment, sexual harassment and gender discrimination may also be reported. In relation to harassment, the procedure set out in the protocol shall apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This channel should not be used for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work-related complaints (payment of salaries, performance evaluations, timetables, project or development issues, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Personal disputes between the complainant and another person (unless related to issues covered by this Policy).<\/li>\n<li>Complaints related to non-payment.<\/li>\n<li>Emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Unfounded rumours or complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Emergency situations requiring immediate action, such as threats to life or property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>CONFIDENTIALITY AND WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION<\/h2>\n<p>Anonymity is guaranteed for those who prefer not to reveal their identity when making a report, unless the reported event is to be pursued through legal proceedings. The company has implemented computer security measures to ensure that the identity of anonymous whistleblowers remains hidden.<\/p>\n<p>IRIS Technology Solutions will not proactively attempt to discover the identity of such whistleblowers, regardless of the channel used. However, it is recommended that whistleblowers identify themselves to facilitate the investigation. The identity of named whistleblowers will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.<\/p>\n<h2>PROCESSING THE COMPLAINT<\/h2>\n<p>The IRIS Technology Solutions Whistleblowing Channel can be accessed through the following <a href=\"https:\/\/iris-eng.ethic-channel.com\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The whistleblowing channel is also available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/iris-eng.com\">IRIS Technology Solutions<\/a> website, in the footer. The person responsible for managing the whistleblowing channel is the deputy director, Joan Puig.<\/p>\n<p>To create a complaint, go to the website and click on the link indicated above. The channel offers three main sections: \u2018Report problem\u2019 to report complaints, \u2018Consult incident status\u2019 to check the status of a complaint by means of a communication code and an access code that is provided at the end of the communication of the complaint, and \u2018Frequently asked questions\u2019 that addresses common doubts about the channel.<\/p>\n<p>Complaints can be made via the web or entered manually from the management backoffice (for those complaints that are received on paper or in a face-to-face meeting).
