The VISUM® Family, our real-time monitoring devices, was born.

Thanks to our solid R&D background, we have made significant progress on our own Technology Roadmap, allowing us to design and develop our own instruments based on Infrared Spectroscopy and fulfill our mission to integrate new inline monitoring systems for quality improvement and process standardization in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, among others. Finally, in 2016, the VISUM® brand was born. VISUM® offers industry a strong value proposition: bringing affordable and reliable laboratory analytical capability to production lines (Lab2Line) and along the value chain (Lab2Chain) for real-time process monitoring and quality control purposes.

Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning to explode bid data

As the Industry 4.0 Revolution gains momentum, in 2017 IRIS is creating a new Digital unit dedicated to the development of cloud and on-premises smart manufacturing solutions that can leverage process/production data with Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning tools. This further strengthens our Value Proposition for our customers: the ability to transform data into actionable insights for industry and enable digitized and connected industries and value chains for improved efficiency, customer centricity, circularity and competitiveness.

New office and new identity, but excellence and hard work remain

Internationalization and opening new export markets

Starting in 2023, we embarked on an accelerated commercial expansion, taking our Visum® range of industrial analyzers into new markets by developing a commercial distribution network and establishing a presence in more than 14 countries worldwide in Central America, South America, Europe and Asia.

We are revolutionizing the availability and accessibility of NIR and Raman technologies.

Recognizing the limitations in the usability, accessibility and openness of process analyzers using NIR and Raman technology, we launched Visum Master™ AI-powered software, the first and only software to automate calibration and method development for non-expert users. We created a new way to experience technology, making it easy for calibrations to be developed, edited and validated by the end user independently and without the need for intermediaries, making the Visum® instrument line truly open systems that can meet the current and future analytical needs of every industry.
